Visit the YMCA today and you can have fun, learn skills for the future and make new friends!

Teen Leadership & Volunteering

You make it happen at the YMCA. Learn leadership skills and volunteer to create needed activities for yourself and other teens. The YMCA is a place where the potential is limited only by your own imagination and energy. Organize a Teen Night, provide leadership for a Teen Service Project, or be part of a group to plan a weekend of fun and adventure.

Teen Job Opportunities

The YMCA is one of the largest employers of teens in the area, and with the YMCA you'll be developing strong leadership and people skills. Perhaps you've already volunteered or participated in swimming classes, camp, Counselors in Training or other YMCA activities. Put these skills to use as a lifeguard (age 16+), swimming instructor (age 16+), day camp counselor (age 18+), membership specialist (age 18+), Childwatch Attendant (age 16+), Kid's Club Attendant (16+) or Camp Shady Brook counselor (age 18+).
